Project:

Reproductive Justice – An Introduction

Client: Gunda Werner Institute / Heinrich Böll Foundation

Role: Illustrator

Project Overview: I had the pleasure of creating the illustrations for the brochure “Reproductive Justice – An Introduction”, published by the Gunda Werner Institute. This publication serves as a comprehensive guide to the concept of Reproductive Justice—a framework originally developed by Black feminists in the US during the 1990s.
Summary: The brochure explores how reproductive rights (such as the choice to have or not have children) are deeply intertwined with social justice. It moves beyond the traditional “pro-choice” debate by highlighting how race, class, disability, and gender identity influence a person’s ability to make self-determined decisions about their body and family life.
